I had a fantastic stay for 3 nights in the Standard Double Room. The breakfast was the best I had in Switzerland, with fresh cheeses, meats, and a lot of fruit. The staff were super helpful, and I had a great view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. 🌄

what a nice location, but no elevator? ! had to lug my heavy bags up all those stairs. the shower was nice, but it definitely lacked soundproofing, I could hear everything. I expected at least an upgrade for my trouble, but they treated me like just any other guest, woudl ve been nice to feel appreciated. I almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

No elevator at all!!! Carrying luggage upstairs can be a real chore, and the noise level from neighboring rooms could use some improvement!!! !!!

We loved the amazing breakfast with a variety of fresh cheeses and bread that set us up for the day! Plus, the stunning view of the Matterhorn from our shower was simply unforgettable. The small local eateries nearby, especially Pizzeria Roma, served delicious slices that were a hit after a long day of exploring.

For the price we paid, the sulfur scent in the basement hallway was a bit quirky. Also, those tiny soap packets felt underwhelming, and the ski boot room heaters being off in the morning left our boots cold on the slopes. Despite these hiccups, the charm of the place shone through.

Location near the center makes it easy to walk around and explore. The complementary pick-up service from the train station happened in less than 10 minutes. I loved sitting on the balcony taking in the breathtaking view of the Matterhorn—completely mesmerizing. Breakfast offered a delightful spread with fresh cheeses, meats, multiple bread choices, and a great fruit selection. I especially appreciated the afternoon tea with cookies after skiing. It made for a cozy treat. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making me feel at home during my stay. However, the building has no elevator, which made carrying heavy luggage a bit challenging. Also, some of the electrical sockets in the room were inconveniently located, making it tricky to use the tea and coffee facilities comfortably. Even though the room was spacious and had a good view, the old building lacked soundproofing, making it somewhat noisy at times.

Strongly recommend for a quick weekend visit

Amazing breakfast, stunning views, and convenient location made our quick getaway memorable, especially the delightful breakfast spread with fresh options, and the easy access to nearby attractions via a taxi service that only costs CHF 5 per person.

Breakfast featured a diverse and fresh buffet, including soft boiled eggs and local breads. The afternoon tea service with cookies added a delightful touch after a day on the slopes. The convenient shuttle service from the train station was a commendable feature, exemplifying the hotel's commitment to customer service.

The breakfast was a good spread, fresh cheeses and meats just to start your day right,, but the view from our balcony was what stole the show, it was like having a front row seat to nature’s greatest performance. The hospitality from the staff, especially during our check-in, you felt like family from the get-go, they even offered us a complimentary drink while we settled in.

A bit pricey for what we got, but it was still worth it.

Had a fantastic time with friends. We loved the comfortable rooms and the amazing breakfast spread. Located close to the train station made exploring the area easy. Don’t miss checking out the nearby ski resorts and hiking trails. Staff were super friendly and made the stay even better.

The only hiccup was that my room lacked a kettle, which would have been nice for making evening tea.
